Doug Lamb

Senior Pastor

Doug’s deepest desire is to glorify God by being fully satisfied with Him. Since coming to Fannin in 1992, he has considered it a privilege to serve the wonderful people of this Church, and to see some of the amazing things God has done. His vision is that he and the people of Fannin increasingly help people become more like Christ. Doug is a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio. After earning his bachelors he then went on to earn a Masters of Divinity with Biblical Languages from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctorate of Ministry from Reformed Theological Seminary. He and his wife Lisa were married in 1988. They have two daughters Taylor and Sydney. When Doug is not at Church he spends time with family, friends, exercising, riding his bicycle, hiking, reading, or building things.

Mark Taylor

Family Minister

Mark is a Midland native, although he has lived on both the east and west coast. In 1987 Mark graduated from Texas Tech University and worked with statistics in various industries until around 2000. Mark and his wife Dana then moved to the east coast to work as house parents in a group home with teenaged boys. They then moved to North Carolina so he could attend seminary and they continued to work as house parents, this time with adolescent boys. In 2005, they moved to Midland to work as the children’s and preschool minister here at Fannin. Mark and his wife Dana have two children, Jake and Marcie. Mark’s ministry goal is to have families that learn and grow together. To think that the church can teach our children, our teenagers, and ourselves how to follow Christ in a few hours a week is foolish. What the church can do is give families the tools to do this teaching in the home and partner with them in these efforts. This is my goal.

Ryan Reed

Student Minister

Ryan is a Midland native, having attended Greenwood Baptist Church while growing up. He has served in churches in the panhandle, the DFW metroplex, central TX, Monahans and Angleton, before coming to Fannin in March of 2019. Ryan obtained his bachelor's from Dallas Baptist University, before getting his Master of Arts in Religion and Master of Divinity from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. Ryan and his wife Jennifer met at church camp and later married in 2003. They have three kids. Leah, Zach and Joanna (JoJo). He enjoys playing disc golf, card games and loves to root for his Cubs! His desire is to see students become disciplined followers of Jesus while serving and sharing the Gospel as central parts of their lives.

Becky Hamilton

Preschool & Children's Minister

Becky loves children and finds great joy in serving this group of people. A member of Fannin since 2005, she is most encouraged by seeing children come to know the Lord and follow Him with reckless abandon. Becky graduated from Hardin-Simmons University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Behavioral Science. She is also a certified teacher. Becky is married to her high school sweetheart and best friend, Brandon, since 1999. They have two sons together, Braylon and Blaine. Becky enjoys vacationing with her family, reading, playing the violin and watching her boys play sports.

Pete Tung

Music Minister

Pete is a native of Baltimore, MD. He is a graduate of York College of Pennsylvania with a degree in Classical Guitar. He and his wife Jessi have been married since 2003. They have 2 children named Vienna and Davian. Pete’s passion is building worship teams to provide opportunities for people to connect with God through music, prayer, and God’s Word. He enjoys exercising, playing guitar, reading, hanging out, and especially eating.

Jennifer Daehling

Missions Coordinator

Jennifer has a passion for seeing the lost come to a saving faith in Jesus. She finds it the greatest privilege to be a part of God’s work in expanding His Kingdom when she knows He could do it all on His own. A member of Fannin since 2002, Jennifer has served as a Sunday School teacher in the children’s department of years. She has a masters degree in Kinesiology from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin, a certificate in apologetics, a Masters in Intercultural Studies, and is currently working on her PhD. Her husband Danny and their three children are, next to Jesus, the most important things in her life. Jennifer enjoys reading, running and going on mission trips.

Her husband, Bill, is her biggest supporter and best friend next to Jesus, that is!
